Meet the Laureates

Overall, Revelle's contributions to oceanography and climate science have been highly influential, and have helped shape our understanding of the Earth's environment and the impacts of human activity on the planet. His work on climate change in particular was groundbreaking, and helped to bring the issue to the forefront of scientific and public discourse.
